Job Description

One of Wripple’s clients is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist. The Communications Specialist is responsible for identifying and executing against key cross-organizational projects related to Brand Experience Marketing’s strategic communication roadmap, including priorities like integrated communications planning, brand experience narrative development, rolling out our personalized experience brand and communicating policies – all in service of enhancing the customer experience throughout the travel ribbon, driving positive NPS (Net Promoter Score) and deepening relationships with our customers.


The ideal candidate will be relationship-oriented and a skilled “dot connector,” collaborating with various teams and departments to drive client’s integrated brand experience marketing approach.


As part of the Brand Experience Marketing team, this role will help support the development, implementation, and documentation of customer communications and campaigns, working with key teams across Marketing, including Social, Lifecycle, Direct Channels, Media and agency partners. Additionally, the role will manage tracking and reporting of progress and will coordinate closely with additional BX stakeholders throughout the company to share updates, best practices and ensure successful and accurate deployment of customer communications. Preparation of status updates and presentations will also be required.


This position starts as a 40 hour/week contract position for 6 months with the potential to turn into a full-time employee for the right fit. This resource must be located in the ATLANTA Metro area and open to hybrid onsite (2 days/week).


Responsibilities:

  • Role will develop audience segmentation and coordinate with teams on deployment of communications
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with partners in BX, including Corporate Communications, employee communications and Sales teams to ensure messaging and strategy is consistent across key audiences
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines and creative process for all relevant projects
  • Engage internal marketing teams and creative agencies to develop messaging and creative
  • Develop copy and manage marketing content needs for BX projects
  • Lead the development of marketing strategies related to cross-functional projects and initiatives including but not limited to Sync and CX policies
  • Support strategic communications mapping and long-term BX integration planning, team tools and processes, and team narrative development
  • Establish check-ins, share updates, and manage internal and external communications and progress updates


Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and excel in a cross-functional, matrix environment
  • Experience managing projects with external stakeholders or creative agencies
  • Agency & email marketing experience preferred, but not required
  • Creative development and strategy
  • Presentation skills and executive presence
  • Excellent skills in the following required:
  • Experience managing inputs and approvals, schedules and overall program and campaign deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT
  • Some travel may be required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in marketing communications
  • Data analytical abilities
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Preferred experience managing photoshoots/video shoots and activations
  • Exceptional copywriter with experience in crafting casual and simple customer communications
