Reporting into the VP of Marketing, this individual will oversee the development and implementation of plans to execute comprehensive, integrated marketing campaigns. A versatile brand storyteller and talented writer is a must as the successful hire will be primarily responsible for conceiving, writing, editing and executing marketing copy across key digital channels. Experience in the adtech or martech industry is beneficial and they will be well versed in the current trends and challenges of the digital marketing landscape.
What You’ll Do:
● Develop, create and edit content for different marketing purposes, such as social media, press releases, awards entries, advertising, email and website content
● Plan, coordinate and manage the execution of a variety of paid, owned and earned communication activities that support brand awareness, demand generation and client growth goals.
● Project-manage integrated campaigns and cross-functional marketing launches from kickoff through go-to-market, ensuring key stakeholders are aware and accountable, deadlines are met or managed and deliverables are well communicated internally as well as across our external channels
● Contribute ideas and write copy for press releases, award submissions, webpages, event promotions, video scripts, and broader integrated campaigns across key paid and owned channels
● Support media and analyst relation efforts in both strategy and execution, acting as team liaison with industry influencers and contributing pitch angles
● Develop understanding and mastery of Skai’s brand persona in voice, tone and messaging while owning our style rules, ensuring consistency across marketing use cases and evolving them as becomes relevant
● Keep abreast of trends in content and style reflected on various media and marketing channels including industry jargon and terminology
● Leverage Skai’s consumer data and marketing research findings to inspire creative concepts and generate upper funnel engagement
● Stay highly tuned in and accountable to tracking and reporting on the results if your work, working closely with the Marketing Operations Analyst to understand how messaging resonates with key audiences and to optimize the program
● Work closely with the Revenue Org to understand our ICP and top ABM targets and tailor communications to these audiences
● Continually strive to provide the best customer service possible by upholding Skai’s core values of Innovation, Passion, Integrity, and Humility.
What You’ll Need:
● Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
● At least of 4 years of experience in an agency or in-house role within a marketing team
● Experience marketing FOR a B2B brand is preferred, but bonus would be experience marketing TO consumer brands
● A portfolio with samples of your previous writing work across different mediums, including website and ad copy
● Excellent grammar, writing, and editorial skills
● Expertise and understanding of digital marketing best practices for the channels mentioned, including A/B or multivariate testing, growth hacking and optimization

● Extremely organized and methodical, versed in using project management software and prioritizing ruthlessly against changing objectives
● Adaptable and versatile, comfortable multi-tasking and context-switching across a variety of responsibilities and deliverables
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicants experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data. This position is eligible for additional bonus compensation, full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
