Marketing And Communications Associate

Our nonprofit client is looking for a Marketing and Communications Associate. The Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the company brand and communications with stakeholders. The specialist creates, executes, and collaborates on public relations, communications, media and marketing campaigns that align and support annual and long-term strategies focused on recruitment and retention of members, supporting girls and their families, enhancing fund development, promoting program and furthering branding efforts of the organization. The Associate assures campaigns use all forms of media available to reach internal and external audiences to increase membership, bolster community support and support fundraising efforts. The position requires the ability to manage details needed for project creation and delivery in a timely fashion; work cross functionally with multiple teams; strong user understanding and demonstrated experience in social media marketing, enhancing and managing public image of company; and the ability to support other communication functions within the organization. The Associate is expected to advise and provide marketing guidance on the most effective means to communicate and promote the work teams they support. This Associate level position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring 2 days per week in their New York City office.

• Pay Rate: $30 - $32 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates and continues to learn from company Marketing Department experts in order to comply with and keep staff apprised of company Branding standards.
• Designs, edits, and collaborates with project leads to create all external communication assets necessary regarding, including but not limited to: program guides, fund development campaigns, product communication, membership recruitment and retention messages and materials, program promotion and reporting, community support
• Other duties as assigned / needed.
• Maintains and supports website and social media accounts. Collaborates with project leads and is responsible for all edits to and information on the website, as well as the creation, scheduling, upkeep and support of communication via social media accounts.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Expertise in all social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) or similar programs.
