We are seeking an experienced and motivated market research professional to join our team in Cincinnati (or Chicago or Raleigh locations). The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in market research, with a focus on quantitative research and advanced survey analytics. The candidate should have experience designing surveys and hands-on experience analyzing data using descriptive and predictive statistics. Familiarity with survey techniques such as MaxDiff or Conjoint, and analytical techniques such as regression or factor analysis are required. Ideal candidates will have experience working at a market research supplier and in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce client-facing deliverables such as reports
• Guide colleagues and stakeholders on the best research methods and analysis techniques for specific situations
• Identify trends, insights, and key findings to inform business decisions and strategy
• Create deliverables and present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research needs and objectives
• Produce research project artifacts such as briefs, questionnaires, or discussion guides
• Organize and manipulate data for analysis including crosstabs and spreadsheets, and potentially SAS/SPSS/Python syntax or code
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external vendors
• Leverage familiarity with analytic techniques to discover insights from data
• Design and conduct market research studies with a focus on quantitative methodologies, including survey design and analytical plans
• Provide strategic consultation to stakeholders on key business decisions

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of survey techniques
• Bachelor's degree in market research, statistics, social sciences or a related field
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience designing and conducting market research studies, including survey design and implementation
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Strong understanding of market research methodologies and best practices
• Proven track record of providing actionable insights and recommendations
• Proficiency programming in Qualtrics or a related survey programming tool
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in market research, with a focus on quantitative research and advanced survey analytics

Preferred

• Experience working at a market research supplier
• Advanced Qualtrics programming skills
• Experience with data science techniques and working alongside data scientists
• Familiarity with qualitative primary research techniques such as focus groups and interviews
• Advanced skills in SPSS, SAS, Python
• Experience in the financial services sector
