Cvent is a leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider with more than 4,800 employees and ~22,000 customers worldwide, including 53% of the Fortune 500. Founded in 1999, Cvent delivers a comprehensive event marketing and management platform for marketers and event professionals and offers software solutions to hotels, special event venues and destinations to help them grow their group/MICE and corporate travel business. Our technology brings millions of people together at events around the world. In short, we’re transforming the meetings and events industry through innovative technology that powers the human connection.

The DNA of Cvent is our people, and our culture has an emphasis on fostering intrapreneurship – a system that encourages Cventers to think and act like individual entrepreneurs and empowers them to take action, embrace risk, and make decisions as if they had founded the company themselves. At Cvent, we value the diverse perspectives that each individual brings. Whether working with a team of colleagues or with clients, we ensure that we foster a culture that celebrates differences and builds on shared connections.

We have an opening for a Manager/Senior Manager whose main responsibility will be to ensure Cvent’s Hospitality Cloud meets or exceeds revenue targets for the Event Diagramming product suite, including new booked business and customer retention. You will work closely with marketing, sales operations, client services and product management to improve the customer experience, enable sales teams, streamline processes, execute campaigns, and help prioritize product enhancements. Successful candidates will be passionate and entrepreneurial and have experience with event diagramming technology and the hospitality sales, events, and catering business.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop and help execute sales and marketing campaigns, enabling salespeople with key information to ease delivery
  • Understand Cvent’s full suite of products, and how the diagramming suite fits within the platform, exploring additional ways we could expand the value of our solutions
  • Provide monthly forecasts, and engage with sales teams to help them develop pipeline and close deals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work with client services on adoption initiatives and efforts to maximize client retention and satisfaction
  • Demonstrate product functionality (with the support of Product team members and Solutions Consultants) and value proposition to potential and existing partners, in a simple and concise way that can be easily cascaded internally or to their customer base
  • Act as an evangelist for the diagramming suite, and the user personas which these tools serve
  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze usage and market trends, validate data and share learnings with the leadership team
  • Use salesforce.com, tableau and other dashboards to monitor value from partner relationships, identify areas of improvement and conduct strategic reviews, internally and externally
  • Participate in prioritization exercises for requested enhancements, and build excitement for the roadmap with internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively solicit customer feedback, monitor competitor technology, and report on SWOT quarterly to senior leadership

Here's What You Need

  • Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working with partnerships and multi-channel sales organizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software
  • Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include relationship management, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
  • 10+ years of experience in customer-facing/revenue-generating roles and at least 5 years in Event Planning, Hospitality Event, Sales & Catering, or in Hospitality Event Technology
  • Experience building teams and people management is a plus
