Position Overview
As a Manager of Travel Agent Rewards & Recognition Programs within our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our WAVES rewards program and the launch of the exciting new WAVEMAKER recognition program for travel agents. This dynamic position involves managing program operations, coordination, and technology, as well as collaborating with various teams on training guides, webinars, and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the WAVES rewards program, including engagement coordination, point forecasting, program technology, and third-party vendor liaison.
Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed, and manage program accounting and invoicing.
Lead the development and launch of the WAVEMAKER recognition program, including budget planning and working closely with third-party vendors and creative teams.
Coordinate with Air and Revenue Management teams to ensure the smooth execution of the Discounted Agent Vacation program.
Fulfill Elite recognition program member communications, including welcome emails and account notifications.
Collaborate with Sales Support and Team Travel Support to address travel agent concerns and streamline processes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; industry and/or relevant experience preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in sales reporting and analytics tools.
Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and resolve conflicts.
Team player with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel as required.
