Job Description
Welcome to the opportunity of a lifetime! We are a growing company that specializes in helping our clients sell their troubled assets (real estate) in a way that saves them money, helps them get rid of their headache properties, and enables them to move on to bigger and better things. Our focus is primarily on commercial real estate projects, and we take pride in being value-add investors and financial engineers of win-win transactions.
As our company continues to expand, we are looking for an in-person personal assistant to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of a company that is both secure and flexible, and we are seeking someone who is honest, hardworking, and able to work independently. Basic math proficiency and technological abilities are a huge plus.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to counterbalance our whirlwind entrepreneurial personality. As my personal assistant, you will be responsible for helping me with a wide range of tasks, including driving me to appointments, scheduling meetings, organizing leads, sending tasks to our virtual assistants, and much more.
We are looking for a long-term teammate who loves to help others succeed and is not naturally looking for the spotlight themselves. If you get your thrills from helping others reach their full potential, this could be the perfect fit for you.
While a large majority of this position will be in-person assistance, remote work will be common once we get rolling. This will be especially true in the Winter months (Jan-May) when I head south for both business and to escape winter. You will need to be willing to travel here and there for projects going on in the south.
We already have a network of virtual assistants, acquisition managers, solid partner relationships, and subcontractors in regular use. As my personal assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, and your future salary and benefits will be in direct proportion to how fast you help us reach our business goals. We measure these goals, and I don't see why, in 3-4 years, you couldn't be so valuable to us that your salary is $200k++.
A few things I will need assistance with include driving me to appointments, scheduling appointments with subcontractors and investors, organizing leads, getting everything to my accountant so they can create my monthly profit and loss, sending tasks to our virtual assistants, helping put finishing touches on offers we make, visiting properties we already manage to let realtors in, taking pictures or checking on a project, researching and calling on specific things, building lists on spreadsheets, canceling accounts, setting up accounts, creating systems, and creating quarterly reports and statements for myself and our investors.
If you are a proactive, self-starter who loves to help others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. Ideally, you've already been an assistant for someone else who was successful and they've taught you a lot.
In the summer, I reside in Eau Claire, and most of our current projects are in Wisconsin, so living near Eau Claire is necessary. However, once we get rolling, remote work will be common, and you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere. We want to make sure that we are a good fit on a personal level too, especially since ideally, we will be working together for 10+ years.
