We are seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented individual who can work with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple tasks. As an IT Manager, you should be a strategic thinker and persuasive communicator who is capable of motivating and leading your team. You should also have a solid understanding of current technology and trends and be eager to learn new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain RenewAire's effectiveness and efficiency by studying organization goals, practices, and user projects to implement and support progressive IT strategic plans.
Recommend IT policies and procedures by identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements.
Manage IT staff by communicating job expectations, appraising job results, coaching employees, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Lead a project to upgrade and integrate local network and overall IT system with global corporate hardware, software and policies. Act as lead coordinator for RenewAire to corporate IT leadership. Champion local modifications and develop and recommend exceptions.
Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Oversee maintenance and upgrade of RenewAire's computer network and office equipment (all hardware, software, and peripherals incl. printers, faxes, copiers, printers, elevator, security system, digital cameras, and LCD LED projectors) and system structure integrity, working with vendors and staff as required and maintaining a network, phone & cabling inventory and system procedures.
Manage and ensure compliance and protection of enterprise software including Enterprise Resource Planning software, Customer Relationship Management software (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) management, Remote server/desktop, and email access (VPN, RDP, O365 Exchange, Remote Web Access (RWA), and Remote Assistance), as well as the Firewall, network switches, and security. Offer knowledge and assistance in troubleshooting.
Oversee and assist with database management, create and customize reports as required. Assist with and train on using custom reporting.
Research developments and upgrades for Customer Relationship Management software (Dynamics) management.
Manage Virtualization platform (Clustered Microsoft Hyper-V) and SAN (HP LeftHand)
Manage Anti-Virus and patch maintenance systems
Manage the phone and voicemail system, external voice mailbox, cell phone and data services, working with vendors as required.
Manage the updating and maintenance of BarTender barcode unit labeling software & templates as needed.
Provide technical expertise and support to functional departments for reporting, applications training, technical project analysis and budgeting, software upgrades, technology integrations, and troubleshooting.
Conduct system audits of technologies implemented.
Develop IT budget plan.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING:
A degree in Information Technology or a related degree field is required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated team management experience.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
Previous Customer Support Experience Preferred.
Previous administration and use of a help desk ticketing system.
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (intermediate to advanced).
Experience With Virtualization Platforms (Microsoft Hyper-V) Preferred.
Previous experience and good working knowledge of computer/database systems, report writing, and data analysis methods preferred
