Manager Shotlink Operations Jobs

Responsible for ShotLink onsite logistics. This role is the primary interface with tournament staff, volunteer management and training. Responsible for the coordination of Corporate Partnerships objectives on-site, truck tours and player visits and the honorary observer program

• Willing/able to travel extensively
• Bachelor’s degree required. A concentration in Business, Sports Management, Communications, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Five years of relevant experience required; a golf-related business environment with sales or marketing experience preferred.

• Skillful and effective written and oral communication (including strong skills with presentation tools)
• Experience in leading, motivating, and inspiring operational and technical staff, with and without direct reporting responsibly

• Execute the Corporate Partnerships marketing programs on-site and assist corporate and local account representatives with on-site promotions
• Complete assigned work, including participating on conference calls, with internal staff and / or tournaments as required
• For events using the ShotLink Select, execute the onsite scoring function
• As a member of the Golf Technology team, responsible for the growth, support, and evolution of the PGA TOUR’s ShotLink production
• Coordinate and give tours of the ShotLink truck and operations
• Prepare and submit tournament reports timely and accurately
• Handle HQ and onsite staff logistics
• Oversee the location and set up of ShotLink scoreboards and other equipment, as necessary. Work closely with vendors, golf course superintendents, agronomists, and tournament officials. Assist with any procedure needed to get the system up and ready by tournament week
• Responsible for planning for special events and onsite presentations, when necessary, ensure the expected presentation is executed and help devise workarounds or communicate current limitations when required
• Assist with asset control and inventory management
• When necessary, manage the player involvement program with on-site sponsor related promotions
• In advance of tournaments and onsite, work with tournament staff and volunteer chairs leadership to coordinate schedules and ensure all volunteers have proper equipment. May serve as a point of contact for volunteers
• Document and photograph campaigns, logos, caddie and FedEx bibs to ensure compliance to corporate contracts and programs
• Manage the training function for ShotLink volunteers and chairs, which include development and updates to the training program
• Special projects or other duties as assigned
