Location: Houston, TX
Salary Range: $25.96-26.92 per hour is the hiring hourly rate range for the role (equivalent to ~$54,000 – $56,000 annually). This is the range a candidate would be offered to start.

The Person
The Manager of Partnerships and Operations reports to the Senior Director, Growth and Partnerships and will provide operational support to enhance partnership growth and expansion as well as regional support to our Executive Director (ED) to enable us to collectively reach our organization’s vision and goals. They will serve as the point person for their designated teams for scheduling, logistics, and a source of knowledge on our operational processes and procedures. With a strong diversity, equity, and inclusion lens and a deep commitment to equity, this person will also collaborate with other operational staff to build administrative and operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) to create a smooth and cohesive way of running operations across our organization.
You Will Do This By
Ensuring scheduling and administrative operations for your assigned teams (Partnerships and ED) are operating with efficiency and collaboration . (75% of role)
  • Serve as the executive assistant for the regional ED and run their calendars with a keen eye for detail.
  • Complete MOUs, RFPs, and expense reports and invoice processing monthly and follow our finance guidelines.
  • Through a lens of equity and strong communication skills, build partnerships by establishing relationships with team members of the teams you support as well as external stakeholders.
  • Work with each regional leader in your portfolio to identify the parameters of their ideal schedule and schedule within those parameters to the best of your ability.
  • Provide additional project and administrative support for your assigned teams as needed
  • Execute planning and logistics support for virtual and in-person events for the teams you support.
  • Manage travel booking reservations and logistics
Serving as the Business Operations Liaison and Team Operations Specialist for a Portfolio of Teams. (25% of role)
  • Actively and regularly share with the Operations Support team your teams priorities, upcoming events, and things to be aware of that may have a multi-team or org wide impact.
  • Incorporate a process into your team operations that regularly shares out important BizOps updates, deadlines and upcoming actions to be aware of.
  • Understand BizOps SOPs to be able to direct your team members to the appropriate process when they need support.
  • Work with the Operational Support team to implement templates for onboarding new staff members to your team that helps them understand how operations works in your region/team, where they can find resources, who and how they should reach out to the Business Operations (BizOps) team if they need support or assistance.
  • Actively participate in the Operations Manager Support community, including: weekly team huddles, review of communications and materials as needed, and quarterly ½ day stepbacks and one annual full operations staff gathering.

Qualifications
  • Proficient with the Google Business Suite and Zoom
  • Ability to travel locally to support regional events
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative support or operations role
  • Lived experience of the Fellows we serve (Preferred)
  • Strong and effective communication skills, especially in written correspondence
