Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a global CPG company with a portfolio of brands including Optimum Nutrition, Slim-Fast, BSN, Amazing Grass, Think! and Isopure. We are hiring a Customer Planning & Strategy Manager who will be responsible for the development of CP&S for think! protein bars.
What you will be in charge of:
- Provide active support to the customer sales teams to enable the achievement of sales and profit plans for the customers on all products within the assigned group.
- Guide and lead customer-specific products (display, exclusive items) as a key lead with the brand management team through the stage gate process
- Enhance the customer team’s ability to maximize growth and share with customers on their brand.
- Build and leverage relationships with cross functional counterparts including customer excellence (price and sales planning), marketing and finance.
- Own the analysis for, and preparation of, key customer presentations. Develop and house a host of sales tools for sales to self-serve ad-hoc for other customer presentations.
- Responsible for guiding customer teams on the efficient utilization of trade funds and customer invoice costs to achieve brand/company goals on shelf pricing guidance and growth in sales and market share.
- Participate in the development of brand strategy, marketing plans and financial LE’s.
- Assist the brand team in executing impactful shopper marketing programs in the trade that are consistent with the brand’s overall strategies.
- Key leader in driving the commercialization of a specific category/brand plans for specific channels.
- Develop and publish AMPS (assortment, merchandise, price and shelving) principles by category/customer, and guide these principles into customer joint business plans.
- Primary liaison between a specific brand organization and the customer organization across the entire customer team for all sales strategy issues.
- Key teammate in the development and delivery of the brand’s product, placement, pricing and promotion and business planning process.
- Subject matter expert on customer resets, and customer calendars of retail events
The Skills you have:
- Experience managing a brand in a larger brand portfolio organization within CPG
- 5+ years of sales, brand, channel/trade marketing, customer planning and customer strategy experience in North America.
- Exposure to multiple retail classes of trade – E-commerce, Mass, Club, Grocery, Specialty/Department, Dollar, Drug
- Bachelors/University degree in Business or related fields
