Job Description

Job Summary

Client Development Manager will work with the Global VP Marketing and Global CRM team and to establish a defined and consistent program for clients globally, and collaborate with Retail, Marketing and Event team to develop client relationship, experience and grow the business. This role will work closely with each Market to understand local needs and provide the right tools to support the sales teams working with top clientele.


Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Provide support and coaching to all markets to ensure Sales Executives are adhering to associated policies and consistently delivering the “Harry Winston Experience” to clients
  • Develop client profile templates and work with SE to enrich database
  • Assist sales executives with their VIPs, therefore demonstrating high level of communication and service skills in order to lead by example
  • Build local relationships with hotels and other businesses offering exclusive services to Harry Winston existing clients as well as to recruit new clientele
  • Partner with CRM team to develop and implement elevated outreach tools and communications, experiences, and gifting
  • Partner with Events and Retail to strategize on VIP Client Experience and serve as “HW Concierge”, e.g. Events, In-Salon shopping experience, hospitality
  • Build global community of retail team to exchange and learn from best practices and ensure consistency and excellence
  • Monitor and report on events, private appointments and networking; evaluate effectiveness of strategy and approach
  • Set HW standard of excellence for VIP client engagement and treatment
  • Map out client development journey including event, gifting, experiences, etc
  • Create client development strategy by leveraging data insights and SE feedback, defining action plans for each customer in cooperation with SE/Salon Director
  • Partner with VIP sales executives and facilitate on specific requests
  • Partner with High Jewelry Merchandiser and Product Trainer to identify client opportunities, training tools and development of relevant selling ceremonies


Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Mobility to travel domestically and overseas
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • At least 7 year experience in the luxury goods sector or relevant retail industry
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining calm demeanor
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both
  • Assertive with impeccable presentation and communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Experience in networking and building relationships across a range of levels and VIP bases
  • Managerial skills and experience in coaching remote teams
  • Multi-lingual (Mandarin preferred)
