Job Description

The Business Efficiency Unit (BEU) Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the BEU and its staff. Serves as a team leader to the BEU senior specialists and will report to the BEU director along with the senior specialists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work directly with project teams who request special projects and temporarily redeploy specialists to assist as necessary
  • Assist in adding or changing standard BEU training materials
  • Review specialist volume levels and adjust staffing as necessary. The manager will be the key owner of BEU staffing and will work with the director on any tricky staffing situations
  • Review evaluation drafts before they are submitted/communicated
  • Creating a fun, balanced work team vibe
  • Conducting interviews for new specialists
  • Signing off on FTE timesheets and updating as necessary (missed clock-outs)
  • Help build metrics while also monitoring department-wide performance daily and work with the seniors to address any concerns
  • Work with the BEU Director to implement new initiatives following leadership directions (additional f/u support, new BEU standard tasks, etc.)
  • Communicate and coordinate directly with other team managers (Projects, RSG, etc) on all things BEU including giving updates in the manager meetings
  • Signing off on EXP temp workers’ and R1 Global members’ timesheets
  • Work together with the BEU director to help implement and monitor process changes, updates, growth, and other initiatives
  • Gameplan with Senior Specialists concerning underperforming specialists and discuss communication and solutions
  • Act as a mentor and leader to the senior specialists

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Intermediate to Advanced Technical Knowledge of CDP and Workflows
  • Self-starter comfortable working alone as well as in teams
  • 5+ years of related experience with 6+ months of people management experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Client Systems experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
