Job Description

Summary:
In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Spend Analysts who identify and quantify cost reduction opportunities for Vizient provider hospitals and health systems. You will be critical for strengthening Vizient value creation and delivery in collaboration with Vizient Spend Managers, Spend Executives, and providers.
Responsibilities:
  • Bring forward ideas for improvements related to standard work and automation to Spend Management Delivery executives.
  • Serve as second level reviewer of line item detailed analysis reports to ensure high-quality.
  • Present analyses and analytical processes and procedures to a variety of audiences, including internal customers and providers.
  • Serve as business content expert and/or liaison in IT development projects and for existing applications.
  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction with internal and external customers through project management and excellent communication skills.
  • Provide key contributions to training curriculum for Spend Analysts.
  • Develop a high performing team of Spend Analysts aligned with solving provider challenges.
  • Participate in performance improvement (PI) initiatives to identify waste and define leading practices.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and oversee the direction and implementation of standard work across Spend Analysts, including prioritization.
  • Assist with streamlining processing and ensuring that the analysts are compliant with standardized processes and procedures and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience managing people and/or complex projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of quantitative/qualitative data assessment.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage time across multiple tasks working individually or as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required; healthcare analytics, supply chain preferred.
  • Flexible, action-oriented team player with the ability to attend to detail but also have the aptitude to understand and address the bigger picture.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
Estimated Hiring Range:
$88,900.00 - $132,250.00
