Management Analyst I Jobs

THOR Solutions is seeking a junior Management Analyst to support an upcoming effort at NAVWAR HQ in downtown San Diego. The ideal candidate will have existing experience providing support services within US Navy or other DoD environments and applications.
Primary Responsibilities: The candidate’s responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:

• Report findings and recommendations to the Government in written and verbal form.
• Define the nature and extent of problems, and develop solutions.
• Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
• Prepare, solve and present mathematical models.
• Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, cost performance, schedule or expenditures. Interview managers and employees while observing their operations.
• In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.

Job Details

• Already possess an active or interim Secret (or above) clearance (preferred).
• Schedule: California Alternate Work Week schedule. Typically Mondays – Thursdays 9 hours daily, and Fridays alternate between 8 hours or 0 hours.
• Target Pay Range: $22.71 - $25.24/hour
• Security Clearance: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate will either:
• Worksite: Primarily onsite at NAVWAR HQ in San Diego, CA. May have limited telework flexibility.
• OR; be eligible for a new DoD Secret security clearance upon hire.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• One (1) to three (3) years of recent, relevant experience working in management analysis or a similar field.
• May substitute relevant, documented military training/certification in line with described duties.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 software suite.
• Relevant certifications earned in a U.S. Navy/DoD environment are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field preferred.
• Experience obtained in U.S. Navy/DoD programs or operations is highly preferred.
