Maintenance Worker Jobs

Teletronics Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is seeking experienced and pleasant Maintenance Worker with the following skillset:

Duties And Responsibilities

• Collect garbage throughout entire facility including but not limited to offices, washrooms, production, break room and kitchen areas
• Perform a broad range of cleaning and maintenance services for the Property;
• Perform general handy man tasks such as painting, drywall, plumbing, etc.. tasks.
• Strip and wax flooring, wash glass windows and tables
• Assists in or assumes work duties and tasks normally designated to other operations such as forklift operations & packaging;
• Other duties include moving furniture, replacing lights, painting touch up, when required;
• Use equipment and supplies properly in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Cleans, maintains, and stores equipment after use;
• Clean, dust, vacuum, and wash ceilings, floors, walls, furniture, bathrooms, rooms, corridors, windows, doors, stairways, and any other associated equipment and fixtures;
• Clean shop equipment
• Maintain a daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule to ensure all tasks are handled in a timely manner.
• Replenish disposable supplies such as toilet tissue, soap, paper towels, etc.;

Operating Style

• Job requires predominately walking and standing
• Maintain a clean, safe well organized work-station through routine housekeeping.
• Work with varying cleaning liquids, powders, sprays, soaps, gloves, etc.;
• Use tools required in performance of duties such as mops, brooms, waxers, plungers, hammers, screwdrivers, tape-measure, etc.;
• Normal work time spent indoors with occasional outdoor periods, work evenings, days and weekends as required, subject to overtime.
• Understand and follow verbal instructions and be detailed oriented.
• Familiarity with continuous-improvement techniques.
• A neat and tidy personal appearance must be maintained.
• Occasional periods of high levels of physical exertion needed, this includes Heavy lifting (50+ lb.), walking, bending, pushing large loads, carrying, stooping, reaching, standing on ladders, etc.
• Potential to be exposed to chemicals, unclean substances and soiled conditions;
• Must be able to speak fluent English

Qualifications

• Overtime is likely, therefore applicants must be available to work any time between 6:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday and on Saturdays if needed (hours may change as job requirements change). Please do not apply if you are unable to work overtime.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to use a ‘standard’ GPS.
• Must have valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record and a minimum of three years driving experience.
• Hours, to start, will be Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
• Multilingual is helpful.

Itar Requirements

TO confirm to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorization form the U.S. Department of State.
