Maintenance Coordinator Jobs

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the coordinator will assist with the coordination and direction of the construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities by ensuring the performance of the following either personally or through the maintenance staff.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of PO’s
• Inspects plant and evaluates the use of space and facilities
• Handling service requests & purchasing supplies & parts
• Assists with liaisons to public utility, environmental and energy agencies including OSHA, State & Federal Environmental regulatory bodies in conjunction with Operations Leader.
• Coordinate with Operations Leaders to update Maintenance Oracle System site level
• Participate in various facility projects
• Other duties as assigned, including supporting maintenance staff, providing administrative assistance to the Facilities Supervisor
• Produce monthly reports via Oracle
• Process CC Authorizations related to Maintenance
• Placing orders under the Spare Parts Program
• Coordinate with outside contractors and other outside vendors doing work at the facility or on the grounds.
• Organize and schedule Maintenance contractors to perform various duties.
• Oversees activities engaged in equipment installation and facilities equipment repair.
• Ability to coordinate interactions with Vendors
• Responds and coordinate work requests for service on the facility’s machine maintenance and equipment;

Position Requirements

Minimum Education:

• College degree preferred in relevant field.

Minimum Experience

• Ability to establish good working relationships with all levels of personnel throughout the entire organization
• Ability to maintain policies, procedures, and work instructions necessary to support the Company’s registered quality system and company policies
• Prior experience in industrial facilities role and/or machinery/equipment.
• Working knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office Suite & Oracle

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
