Description & Requirements

The Job:

This is a billable position, responsible for all on-site consulting and training engagements for new and existing users of LumberTrack throughout North America.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead installation and training of peripheral components of LumberTrack projects including TagTrack, Handhelds, EDI, FiberTrack and Cubes.
  • Recommend custom BI solutions for clients that allow them to achieve their business goals.
  • Adapt LumberTrack product capabilities to meet specific customer business needs.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to ensure requirements are understood.
  • Work closely with other Professional Services team members to deliver solutions to Epicor LumberTrack clients.
  • Communicate with Project Manager pro-actively to mitigate risk to budgets and timeline.
  • Provide on-site assistance at go-live events.
  • Responsible for high utilization (65%) and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure areas of responsibility have been delivered in a timely and thorough manner.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability and availability for up to 50% overnight travel throughout North America.
  • Experience writing SQL queries.
  • Proven success in software project implementation and deployment.
  • Ability to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources and monitor the performance of project tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.


Qualification:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced in lumber industry terms and processes.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Business or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
  • LumberTrack application experience required.
