Loyalty, Qa Automation Engineer

This role is remote, with one required visit to your designated home office per quarter.

Remote option is available for employees located in the following states; AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MS, MT, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, TN, WA, WV, and Washington D.C. (States subject to change at any time)

What You Will Do:

• Be a QA engineer in terms of "hands on" contribution and a driving force in our Loyalty product team.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions, escalate issues where needed
• Sign off on new features and functionality
• Review and debug code
• Build robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation both for front-end and API solutions
• Ensure QA is fully part of the CI/CD pipeline and promote the benefits of Test-Driven Development and automation first
• Communicate effectively with external and internal teams
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with applications and domains
• Perform different types of testing such as Smoke testing, functional test, regression test
• Responsible for creating test approaches for the product development teams and collaborating with the team to ensure they are fulfilled
• Create pipelines for continuous integration
• Delivery of high-quality automation to prove the functional and non-functional requirements are met with the solution
• Enjoy exploratory testing
• Develop, execute, and maintain test automation frameworks for different test environments
• Perform test for mobile devices (Android and iOS apps)

What You Will Need:

• AWS platform experience
• Terraform (optional)
• Javascript/NodeJS/Python
• Linux/Unix
• Familiar with page object pattern
• Familiar with CI/CD processes in Gitlab
• Experience with other programming languages such as Java, Scala
• Strong hands on experience testing native devices such as Android, iOS
• Experience with Jira or other PMT for Agile Management
• Mobile apps testing experience is a must
• Selenium WebDriver/WebdriverIO/Pytest
• Splunk/New Relic monitoring
• 4+ years of experience in SDET
• API/RESTful service testing experience
• Kubernetes/Docker

Aptitude in one or more of the following is a plus:

• Experience thinking about risk, creating test strategy, and validating the quality of testing plans & procedures
• Experience working on or closely with DevOps teams
• A passion for sports, sports betting, online games, and/or casino games
• Proficiency with non-functional testing
