SDET - Senior Automation Engineer -IoT and Retail Team

Remote for the right candidate or onsite in Seattle, WA / Full time / 13 month contract

US Citizen or Green Card holders only / NO C2C

Our client is seeking a Sr. SDET to add to their IoT and Retail Hardware team. Best qualified candidates will be strong in QA Automation, Scripting, Tools, Methodologies, Lower Environments, and both Hardware and Software. Looking for strong self-starters knowing where and how to add value to dynamic teams!

Job Duties

• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
• Working with deployments teams, consulting on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes
• Investigating internal and external problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports
• Working with various Scrum Teams to ensure the ultimate functionality and value of the products
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms for both software and hardware
• Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases

Job Requirements

• Production Monitoring
• 5+ years performing QA Automation at Sr Level
• Desired Skills & Experience
• Ability self-direct on high-performing, and high-function team
• Architect / manager lower environments
• Experience with IOT and Lorawan
• Familiarity with testing retail hardware (cameras, digital signage, screens, etc)
• FED skills: React, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Highly skilled with Python, Java, Selenium
• Strong UI focus on testing
