Job Summary

Under general supervision the Loss Mitigation Representative II (LMR II) is responsible for collection and/or monitoring of complex accounts affected by Replevin actions, Insurance Claims (wrecked or stolen), and Deceased/Estate claims that may require deviation from routine processes and procedures. The LMR II will assist with continuous improvement opportunities and training for new representatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Communicates with attorney, executor, and beneficiaries regarding deceased customers while continuing collection efforts.
  • Files with attorney and bonding service for the processing of Replevin claims, while continuing collection efforts.
  • Maintain current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to comply with those laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Protection of information and compliance with the law are paramount. Protecting employee, customer and corporate information is everyone's responsibility at Eaglemark Savings Bank. All employees must follow established safeguards, including policies regarding data protection, segregation of duties, and access to information based solely on business need. Further, it is the responsibility of all employees to maintain awareness and understanding of relevant laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to comply with all of them.
  • Uses effective time management to ensure customer service experience is satisfactory and meets expectations.
  • The LMR II will make financial decisions based on the best interest of Harley-Davidson Financial Services, Inc. and the customer.
  • Ensures that all steps necessary are taken to protect the interest of Harley-Davidson Financial Services.
  • Under general direction, utilizing the H-D Valued Behaviors collects either Replevin accounts, Insurance Claim accounts, or Deceased accounts that may require deviation from routine processes and procedures. Account resolution is the primary goal, working within the H-D Valued Behaviors and the interests of the riders we interact with.
  • Communicates with vendors on status of claims while continuing collection efforts.

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Previous experience with consumer credit replevin actions, insurance claims experience as well as customer service and collection experience required
  • Previous skip tracing experience in consumer finance environment or equivalent required
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • PC Literate
  • Detail-Oriented, highly organized, and the ability to produce an above average volume of work with a consistently positive attitude
  • Effective/excellent oral and written communication skills and tact
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to negotiate the best outcomes for company and rider when resolving accounts
  • Displays an ability to reason, rationalize, make decisions, and develop possible solutions, and shows initiative

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Loan Management Systems for financial services

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
