Monitor receipt and delivery of applicable Loan Modification documents to appropriate agency for purposes of recording and collateral requirements.

Request collateral delivery extensions from applicable insurer/agency as needed to ensure compliance to program requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Two (2) or more years' mortgage experience.

One (1) or more years of loss mitigation experience preferred.

Receive, review, and assign modification documents to the Post Closing Representatives.

Strong relationship management skills to facilitate and support communication among lending staff.

Prepare and examine reports for senior management and/or the Board.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 7 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience working with loss mitigation.

Knowledge about consumer lending products and services offered by credit unions.

Thorough knowledge and experience in cease communication protocols/rules/laws, SCRA, and discharge bankruptcy.

Knowledge of Default Manager, LOS Platform, and FDR.

Zero (0) to 2 years of underwriting background or servicing/loss mitigation experience

Perform a thorough analysis to ensure the quality of each loan and to determine compliance with Treasury, Company and Investor guidelines.

Conduct Verification of Income (VOI).

Calculate customer’s front and back-end debt to income ratio.

Verify occupancy, hardship and income.

Two or more years of management/supervisory experience

Thorough knowledge of loan collection techniques, policies, procedures, and principles of credit lending

Recommends specific loss mitigation and/or workout proposals to Supervisor and/or Management and tracks the performance of approved plans.

Performs such other duties as may be assigned by Loss Mitigation Supervisor or other DMS Management.

Corresponds with real estate brokers, agents and attorneys regarding potential short-sale and/or settlement offers on the borrowers' property.

Corresponds with Loan Investors, Loan Insurers, and external servicing vendors regarding specific case requirements.

Understands and follows the Default Services Policies and Procedures of the bank.

Maintains and documents accurate loss mitigation records via the On-Line Collection System

Manage teams who are primarily responsible for Replevin and Bankruptcy portfolios.

Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Knowledge of processes including, but not limited to Bankruptcy, Replevin, Collections, Repossessions, Impounds, and Insurance Losses.

Basic reporting and data knowledge.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels withing the organization.

Ensure to handle packages of Loss Mitigation Finances.

2 month contract position (possibility for hire in other departments once project is completed)

Monitors and tracks REO process and communicate any changes to management

Basic data entry/analysis skills preferred

Assists Loss Mitigation Manager in daily functions to help to reduce delinquencies and identifying and eliminating problem scenarios

Effective third-party vendor relationship management, due diligence, and annual review

Knowledge of lien perfection, lending, and collection regulatory requirements

3 years consumer lending or comparable experience

Strong knowledge of VA, USDA, and Ginnie Mae Loss Mitigation document requirements and deliverables.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Several years’ knowledge of FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, USDA post-closing process and servicing guidelines

Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Strong organizational, analytical and attention to detail skills with the ability to adapt to changes.

Performance is measured against the position requirements and against goals established by the supervisor.

Experience using Symitar Episys a plus.

Responsible for monitoring and tracking all assigned foreclosures and evictions throughout the litigation process.

Responsible for making sound judgments on behalf of investor and insurer guidelines to reduce any losses.

Maintains positive working relationships with outside counsel, vendors, and internal default teams.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Experience with data entry and excel required

Two years experience in a contact call center or shared services center or fast paced office operations environment

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word and Excel applications

Experience with accounting systems is highly preferred

Oversight of managers and staff to achieve productivity and quality standards

Manage various projects and performing other relevant duties as required

Aptitude to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and a capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
