Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for aLogistics and Procurement ManagerinCartersville, GA. This is aFULL TIME PERMANENT DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY. The client is a non-automotive, manufacturer.This facility is a start-up. TheLogistics and Procurement Managerwill play acritical rollwith responsibilities to include thecreation and implementation of policy, processes, and controls related to purchasing and logisitics.
Must have experience working in a manufacturing setting. Start-up experience is a plus!
Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain purchasing and logistics reports that provide insight into performance metrics, trends, and issues.
• Provides guidance and training to staff as needed.
• Develop and maintain a logistics network that ensures timely delivery of products and materials to the company's facilities, customers, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that purchasing and logistics are fully aligned with facilitiy needs.
• Manage the logistics team efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement purchasing and logistics policies, procedures, and controls in line with company strategy.
• Manage the procurement process through full cycle procurement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure that the company receives the best value.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure that materials and goods are available to meet production and delivery schedules.
• Monitor the performance of vendors and suppliers, resolve any issues with quality, delivery, and cost, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Develop and maintain logistics plans and procedures with a emphasis on state and federal compliance with relevant regulations ( e.g., customs, import/export).

Monday-Friday, 1st shift
Must be flexible with hours and be willing to work weekends if asked by the supervisor.
Temporary headquarters located in Atlanta, GA. As a result schedule may involve a remote hybrid model for the first 6+ months. This position will require on-site duties during the transition time . Workload and projects will heavily influence this requirement and will be determined by the Sr. HR Manager.
Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain management, logistics, or a

related field of study.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing and/or logistics role, with at least 3 years in a management position.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Bilingual ( Korean/English) preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, such as customs and import/export regulations.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing and logistics processes and best practices, including sourcing, vendor management, and transportation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP) systems and logistics management software.

Experience In a Manufacturing Environment IsRequired.
