Logistics Development Manager Jobs

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Development Specialist to join our Electromagnetic Systems Group located in San Diego, CA.

Under general direction, this position is responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities for assigned production program(s)/project(s). Determines company and customer requirements and translates these requirements into operational plans.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position will be responsible for administering integrated logistics plans and processes.
• Product support, data interchange systems, demand management, and related functions are also required.
• Ensure continuous improvement of standard logistics processes in different areas.
• Responsible for ensuring that customer support requirements and objectives are achieved within budget and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of progressive logistics management experience.
• Possess the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a variety of problems including supply chain activities and develop solutions related to logistics activities.
• Ability to analyze, generate and submit CDRL documentation for customer review and approval with minimal rework.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is required.
• Must be able to perform inventory management and make recommendations for replenishment spares.
• Experience and understanding of logistics management concepts, principles, techniques, and theories.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working with Wind chill, SAP, and using SLICwave for logistics management information.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense Acquisition Logistics procedures is a plus.
• Experience with Integrated Logistics Support analysis, Spares management, a high mechanical aptitude, and an ability to read engineering drawings.
