The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and safe loading and unloading of shipments. They will also be leading/assisting the clerical duties of the logistics department which includes but is not limited to filing shipping documents, scheduling pickups and deliveries, filing claims with carriers, drafting appropriate shipping documents.

Job Requirements

·Bilingual (Spanish & English)

·High school diploma or GED required;

·Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

·Knowledge of an experience with all shipping functions, foreign and domestic, including domestic air bills, international commercial invoices, and letters of instruction required.

·Strong organizational and time management skills required.

·Ability to follow and issue verbal and written instructions with a strong attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

·Experience in dealing with steamline and freight forwarders.

·UPS, FEDEX, DHL, Ocean, Air, LTL, FTL experience required.

·ERP (Netsuite Preferred), RF-Smart, Powered Industrial Vehicles

·HTS Codes

·Hazmat and Dangerous Goods

·Experience with Certificate of Compliance and Certificates of Authenticity

Job Responsibilities

·Assist in coordinating, scheduling, and tracking delivery shipments to ensure correct material arrives on schedule.

·Accurately and efficiently pull, stage, and load orders; padding, wrapping, as necessary.

·Ensure all products are shipped in good physical condition and are prepared to arrive in the same condition.

·Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements.

·Create, process, and file various logistics documents.

·Effectively communicate, advise, and follow-up with Shipping Supervisor and Warehouse Manager on important information.

·Assist in planning daily shipping loads for the day, ensuring the requested requirements are met for each shipment.

·Perform clerical and physical tasks in the shipment, receipt, movement of materials.

·Assists in coordinating with Production to meet required shipping schedules.

·Utilizes tools and equipment, including skids, pallets, hand trucks, etc.

·Complies with ISO and company requirements.

·Support the team when needed.

·Follows all policies and procedures of Occupational Safety and Health, Human Resources and Quality ·

·Department.Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.

·Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

·Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
