Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Logistics Coordinator - Inventory to join our internal logistics team at the Foley Cellulose mill in Perry, FL. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with the proven abilities to multi-task and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and operators. This role creates value for the organization by maintaining inventory counts accurate, communicating and resolving discrepancies, and planning and preparing for external and internal inventory counts.
Our Team
Reporting to the Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning (SIOP) Manager, the Logistics Coordinator - Inventory will be responsible for performing all administrative and clerical functions in this area.
What You Will Do

• Keep inventory true by reconciling unaccounted, in process and ghost bay product and work with responsible Teams to resolve it. Track discrepancies and respective responsible for accountability.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with Georgia-Pacific employees; internal and external customers; and carriers
• Perform physical counts on outside warehouse inventory in frequency determined by the risk assessment.
• Perform adjustments of reject status in the system for rejected packages and run related reports to ensure downgrade to correct article ID. Discard packages marked scrap in the system.
• Perform daily cycle counts and reconciliation for FOL physical inventory
• Prepare, plan, and execute Quarterly (internal) and Year-end (external) inventory audits at FOL.
• Month end reconciliation with the inventory COE for all outside warehouses.
• Demonstrate self-initiative to continuously create efficiencies through creativity, experimentation, and innovation
• Generate and save periodic inventory reports to keep a record of by-bay-snapshot.
• Manage all inventory and reconciliations for all mill-managed warehouses (SAV, BRN, DSI, THV and BIS)
• Back up to the Container Logistics Coordinator

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in inventory management, transportation, logistics, or customer service role
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as MS-Excel for use of spreadsheets, reporting and formulas, and Outlook for internal and external correspondence.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Inventory Coordination, Transportation or logistics experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Associates degree or higher in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management
• Experience effectively communicating with multiple departments in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
