Loan Document Review Specialist

This entry-level position is responsible for tracking, receiving & reviewing all original loan document packages after closing to ensure compliance, and for converting them to an electronic format. Please note that this an in-office position located in Columbia Missouri.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare original notes for shipment to warehouse banks
• Scan & upload reviewed packages and assign files to Shippers
• Maintain in-office filing system for reviewed files to ensure that documents are stored according to compliance regulations
• Track missing/incorrect documents and follow up on requests. Upload trailing documents to loan files upon receipt
• Receive and check in loan packages upon receipt from carrier
• Sort & review closing packages for completion & accuracy
• Purge files on a weekly basis and prepare for secure document disposal
• Additional duties as assigned
• Manage personal pipeline to ensure deadlines & quotas are met
• Communicate with external & internal parties to obtain missing documents or correction to documents
