Job Description

Linux Systems Administrator
Concept Plus is hiring a Linux System/AWS Administrator with a proven background and understanding of IT system security, must be ambitious, career/skill focused, a self-starter, ready to speak up in remote meetings, strong problem-solving skills, consistent detailed attention to process, and interest in cloud deployment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Secure Dev Ops
  • Enrollment, completion and certification in IT training as directed.
  • AWS architecture
  • Assess and mitigate system security risks; determine and analyze security requirements for implementation and testing
  • JIRA and daily task management
  • Work closely with clients to ensure operational security measures are implemented
  • Provide technical support to diverse user community
  • Self-starter
  • Linux and AWS troubleshooting for large scale enterprise system – in both production and test environments
  • Ability to work in cross-functional matrixed teams

Required Qualifications:
  • Command line for BASH
  • 1-2 years Linux/AWS administration
  • Linux Networking and security
  • Assosciates degree in related field or higher.
  • Must have a SECRET Clearance or be able to obtain one.
  • Proven record of managing paperwork administration
  • Must be USA citizen.
  • Linux System Administration

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Comfortable with a Linux environment
  • Experience in IT system administration with an emphasis on security and certificate management
  • Recent AWS certifications
  • Familiarity with Agile tools
