Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to The Systems Administrator will operate in a dynamic environment, interact with all organizational hierarchies, and maintain the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Consolidating multiple authentication domains into a single Domain with little to no downtime. (Active Directory domain)
• Implementing Continuous Monitoring and configuration management by introducing tools such as Ansible, Splunk, and Nagios.
• Migrating to a fully compliant “RMF” environment. (Risk Management Framework).
• Expanding our Linux, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Designing and implementing a new disaster recovery plan, including a disk-to-disk-to-tape solution.
• Redesigning and rebuilding our unclassified development environment.
• Implementing Splunk at an enterprise level with custom dashboards.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Basic understanding of networking & data communications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 2+ years Linux and RedHat experience
• Basic understanding of Ansible playbooks.
• Candidate must have the ability to work in a team-oriented setting or independently as required to achieve goals and objectives in a fast-paced schedule-driven environment.
• Basic understanding of one or more scripting languages. (BASH/PYTHON preferred)
• 2-year Windows systems administration experience
• Basic knowledge of BackupExec and NetBackup
• Basic knowledge of McAfee Total Protection

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Ansible scripting experience
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• DoD STIG experience
• Bachelor’s Degree desired

Salary Range:

$100,400.00 - $175,700.00
