Requirements:

This person interacts directly with our guests, cooking yummy food for hungry skiers and snowboarders. Must work well under pressure and still have a big smile. You will be on stage in our open-air kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other Line Cooks.
• Participate in daily specials team meeting.
• Set up the line with cooking utensils and equipment.
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers.
• Keep your area cleaned and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Have exceptional working knowledge of ovens, stoves, coolers, freezers, kettles, and fryers.
• Is a champion of Play Forever, Powdr's corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment and support our community in Eldora's everyday operations.
• Restock items throughout the day.
• Have an exceptional knowledge of portion control and plate presentation.
• Follow direction from Sous Chef and Head Chef.
• Cook food in a timely manner.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
• Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking techniques.
• Knowledgeable of Sustainability practices in the food industry.

• Able to manage 20lbs.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
