Job Description
Food Preparation and Cooking:


Follow standardized recipes and guidelines to prepare and cook a variety of dishes.


Ensure that all food items are cooked to the required specifications, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.


Execute various cooking techniques, such as grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying, to create appetizing and visually appealing meals.


Adhere to portion control standards and minimize food wastage.


Station Setup and Organization:


Set up and organize your designated station before and during the service period.


Ensure that all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment are readily available for efficient and smooth operations.


Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following food safety and hygiene regulations.


Assist in the overall kitchen cleanliness and dishwashing tasks as needed.


Quality Control and Presentation:


Perform quality checks on all food items to ensure they meet the established standards and customer expectations.


Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and ingredient quantities to maintain consistency and taste.


Pay attention to detail when plating dishes, ensuring attractive presentation and adherence to the restaurants standards.


Cleanliness and Safety:


Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area.


Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.


Handle and store all food items, tools, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.


Requirements


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Diploma/Graduate in Hotel/Catering Management
  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role.
  • IELTS: 4.5 mandatory
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation methods.
