Retirement
The County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.

- Search for and locate books, reference and other materials within and outside the County's Library System upon patron requests; send books to other branch libraries
- Operate the library circulation desk; check books in and out, periodicals and other library materials; register new patrons, explain library rules and procedures and issue library cards
- Shelve books, periodicals, and other non-book materials
- Assist professional staff with designated library programs, displays, and community outreach/promotions
- Provides excellent customer service to customers & the general public
