LEGAL ASSISTANT- BUSINESS LITIGATION

One of our favorite Atlanta law firms is looking to add a Legal Assistant to support a couple of partners in business litigation. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience supporting attorneys in litigation plus excellent organizational skills, professional communication skills, and proficiency in administrative tasks.

Duties include:

• Assist with special projects as needed
• Legal support: handle efiling of documents, assist with trial preparation, drafting and preparing legal documents, etc.
• Billing support: coordinate pre-bills, make revisions/edits to bills and submit final invoices
• Administrative support: open new matters, prepare letters, time entry, calendar management, manage CLE requirements, and more
• Provide backup support to other Legal Assistants, Paralegals, and other staff
• Meeting preparation: reserve conference rooms, coordinate technology needs, order meals, send reminders to participants, etc.
