We are looking for a dynamic Lease and Contract Administrator. This is an exciting newly created position and a unique opportunity to join our team due to growth. This position will work closely with the owners and will report directly to the Vice President of Accounting and Finance. This position is a very hands-on position that will play an important role in the accounting and administration process.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist VP of Accounting & Finance with lease accounting on company leases
  • Assist owners with contract review and administration
  • Manage renewal dates and update key reminders
  • Coordination of important lease related documents, such as estoppels and certificates
  • Review and coordinate landlord payments as defined by lease, including base rent, CAM, real estate taxes and insurance to ensure proper and timely payments
  • Assist with implementation of new lease administration software
  • Assist with percentage rent calculations and sales reporting
  • Assists in various projects as assigned by the owners and VP of Accounting and Finance
  • Assist with companywide lease administration including all administrative, clerical, and financial aspects
  • Handle company guest incident reports and work with insurance company on resolution
  • Review and audit annual CAM reconciliations for accuracy and updates records accordingly

Hours and Work Environment:

  • Position will be based 100% in our corporate office in downtown Austin. **This is not a remote position**
  • Full-time, additional hours required during peak and busy seasons.
Requirements:
  • Multi-unit restaurant experience and/or multi lease administration environment a huge plus
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to organize data efficiently
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Familiarity with CAM, RE taxes, insurance and general accounting practices and terminology
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial real estate leases and legal contracts
  • Comfortable with working independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly meticulous and organized
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
