Learning And Development Specialist

We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team and work with a multitude of team members through Fitchburg and Watertown. We are a fast-growing company with a lot of potential for growth. We are looking for a highly motivated, team player who wants to grow with us. The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization’s learning needs, including the implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development, career growth, and continuous learning of team members through within our Education Institute.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local universities and technical schools to help promote the field of geriatrics.
• Coordinate with the Director of Learning and Development to ensure that all learning activities are aligned with the company’s mission, vision and values.
• Identify and schedule annual required training utilizing internal and external resources, ensuring staff compliance with educational requirements and maintaining documentation on completed training.
• Conduct needs assessments for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the organization.
• Work with the Director of Learning on program evaluation and feedback.
• Develop educational training needs based on regulatory changes and identified staff, department and leadership needs.
• Create learning materials, including training materials, for staff members, as well as develop and implement training programs for new employees.

Qualifications:

• Experience in designing educational programs independently and working with teams.
• Minimum of two-three years of training experience. Training at the adult level and experience in designing educational programs independently and working with teams-healthcare related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in training/organizational development or master’s degree with a focus on training/organizational development/education and aging preferred.
