The company currently operates 110+ stores across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada.


As the Learning & Development Manager of Shared Services at Salad and Go, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive learning and development content to support the growth and success of Salad and Go’s fast-growing company. You will collaborate closely with various departments to identify training needs, design and deliver training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness. Your efforts will contribute to building a highly skilled and motivated workforce that drives organizational excellence.


Responsibilities:


Training Needs Assessment, Design & Leadership:


  • Consult with department managers to understand their specific training requirements aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee a team responsible for instructional design, copywriting, and Learning Management System Administration.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and departments to identify learning and development needs for Salad and Go.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training content that addresses the identified needs to promote a culture of continuous learning.


Training Program Delivery and Facilitation:


  • Facilitate cross-departmental training sessions and workshops to foster collaboration, promote a shared understanding of organizational goals, and enhance teamwork.
  • Deliver engaging and impactful training programs, both in-person and online, to enhance the skills and knowledge of the SAG organization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts from various departments to ensure training materials and content accurately reflect departmental processes and procedures.
  • Develop a process to regularly review, assess and update exiting curriculum within SAG.
  • Prioritize and streamline training project requests submitted to the Shared Services Team.


Performance Management Support:


  • Provide guidance and support in implementing performance management systems and processes that align with organizational goals.
  • Consult with departments to identify performance gaps and develop targeted training interventions to address them.
  • Collaborate with department managers to establish consistent performance metrics and standards across different functional areas.


Requirements


  • Proficiency in utilizing learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other learning technologies to deliver and track training programs. Experience with innovative learning solutions such as micro-learning, gamification, or virtual reality simulations is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating effective learning and development programs, preferably within the food service industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of collaborating and consulting with multiple departments to identify training needs, develop customized programs, and foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
