We are currently looking for a Lead Project Engineer to be the supportive force that empowers our team in Valencia and supports new product development. This position requires superior organization and prioritization abilities. Goals:
- Create exceptional processes to deliver high quality products repetitively
- Successfully develop and launch new products through the Phase Gate Process
- Support strategic initiatives related to manufacturing and R&D processes
- Manage Capital Expenditure projects related to New Product Development
Positions Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with site manufacturing engineers to complete strategic initiatives
- Is a subject matter expert on process monitoring, lean and continuous improvement
- Cares deeply about colleagues and the planet by designing solutions with personal and environmental safety in mind
- Collaborates aggressively with all business functions
- Defines specifications and acceptance testing for the acquisition of new equipment
- Executes said plans by working with cross functional teams
- Is a student of manufacturing processes, technologies and trends
- Turns the vision for the future into reality
- Effectively communicates the right data to make excellent decisions
- Builds great plans for meaningful projects
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to influence business outcomes
- Proven track record of delivering on improvement projects by working with cross functional teams
- Aspiration to travel, network, and immerse with multiple locations and cultures (25%-40% of the time)
- ≥ 5 years of formative process or manufacturing engineering experience
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with rotary die cutting and flexographic printing
- LEAN and/or six-sigma certification
- Background in material property/process relationships for inks, adhesives, and polymers

Annual Salary Range:
(Based upon experience)
$91,800 - $114,900
