As a Lead Product Manager on the Growth team, you’ll help identify and take on a variety of different opportunities to drive overall user growth. Every month, millions of users download the Yelp app for the first time, and millions of others re-engage with Yelp for the first time in months. As a lead product manager you will be responsible for helping to activate new and dormant users to establish a stronger habit with Yelp. Your ownership will span from executing projects and experiments, to setting multi-year product strategy to drive growth. Our team is composed of energetic and data-driven individuals that strive to make an impact through strong ideation and swift execution.

This opportunity is fully remote and does not require you to be located in any particular state within the US. We welcome applicants from throughout the US. What you'll do:

  • Own key metrics for new user acquisition and existing user retention.
  • Own your product area’s destiny and create roadmaps for the team to reflect this vision.
  • Have a massive impact on a product used and loved by millions of people around the world.
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify the most effective messages, delivery times, and communication channels that encourage users to engage with the product regularly, fostering habit formation and long-term retention.
  • Analyze data to understand key leverage points in the core product experience that will influence long-term user retention and fuel new ideas.


What it takes to succeed:

  • Experience managing the development process: you know how to make things happen.
  • Be authentic, play well with others, and have a strong bias to action.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and align with many stakeholders across different parts of the organization.
  • Several years of growth product experience.
  • Solid understanding of how to grow metrics and lots of practice running experiments.
  • Prioritize and execute with our engineering team to implement and roll out new features.
  • Strive for product excellence, but love to release and iterate.
  • Great with data: you can run your own queries and turn data into actionable insights.


What you'll get:

  • Compensation range is $128 000-192 000 annually. You may also be offered restricted stock units and benefits.
