Job Description

We are a growing, progressive law firm looking for an Office Manager to work with our owner to oversee all aspects of the firm except the practice of law. You will be working closely with the fractional CFO of our firm as you manage financial activities at many different levels. We have a team that is dedicated to giving the best legal assistance available to our clients in Family Law. Probate and Real Estate Law. Our office is located at 2 S. Biscayne Blvd, Suite 2200, in the heart of Miami’s business district. We have earned a high degree of respect from our clients and our colleagues.

Total Rewards: The pay for this position is $115,000 plus an incentive bonus when significant growth and success metrics are accomplished.

The firm offers the following benefits:

  • Built in incentive package
  • 100 percent employer paid health coverage, including dental and vision
  • Two weeks’ vacation beginning the first year of employment

Compensation:

$115,000

Responsibilities:

  • You must possess confidence and compassion as you work with staff and clients, addressing performance concerns and handling employee matters
  • You will execute firm policies and procedures under the direction of the owner and work closely with her and other officials
  • You must have the ability to handle matters appropriately and efficiently so each client’s needs are met following ethical requirements as they receive excellent service
  • You will play a part in all phases of Administration, Personnel, Finances, Facilities and Business Systems
  • You will be responsible for running the billing systems in the office and must handle any complaints clients may have
  • You will be reporting, analyzing and taking action on developed metrics (or KPI’s) across the business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree preferred in business or a licensed CPA with experience in people management
  • Proven leadership success in leading teams, influencing culture and process improvement
  • Demonstrated success in owning a P&L and budget management
  • Five years or more experience in running a law firm office (or other industries acceptable) with leading teams of 10 or more
