Job Summary
Dr. Gray is seeking a Lab Technical Assistant I to join the team with assisting in cell culture, animal tissue processing, and assisting with some molecular biology experiments.
Experience and Education

• High school graduation or GED equivalent, and no experience required.

Job Duties

• Assembles and operates standard laboratory equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Prepares standard reagents and culture media.
• Examines experimentally infected laboratory animals to detect and record symptoms associated with variety of animal diseases.
• Prepares laboratory specimens.
• Weighs, positions, and performs pre-operative shaving of animals.
• Takes vital signs of animals.
• Collects and records data which may involve arithmetic computations.
