Just is seeking a motivated and hardworking team member who desires a significant opportunity to improve worldwide access to biotherapeutics. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team whose main goal is to supply and support cell culture media and buffer preparations to a process development lab. This position also involves cleaning, organizing, equipment maintenance, ordering and inventory tasks, so relevant experience is a plus. The ability to self-organize and complete tasks by deadlines is required. An ability to perform basic tasks on a computer is desired, as is a willingness to learn new software tools. Strong teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively over teleconference and web-based meetings, are key. The ideal candidate is curious, creative, engaged, works well independently and collaboratively, and proactively looks for ways to improve processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media and buffers to support cell culture experiments and other lab activities
• Autoclave solution and cell culture assemblies as needed
• Assist in ordering lab supplies
• Regularly clean and maintain lab and lab equipment
• Support other groups with solution preparation and lab maintenance activities as time allows
• Other tasks as assigned
• Regularly inventory lab supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• Focused on goals and results
• High School diploma or Associate degree in a science related field
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Drive Suite applications
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Attention to detail, including scientific observations
• Organizational skills
• Motivated

Pluses

• Familiarity with preparing cell culture media and buffers
• Experience cleaning and maintaining science equipment

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $55,000 to $63,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
