Kitchen Assistant Fairview ElementaryHours: 7:30-1:30Days: Monday-Friday (School Year Position)Status: Full-TimeRate of pay: ContractedQualifications: Demonstrates an attitude of flexibility in work assignmentsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentInteracts well with co-workers, students and staffKitchen experience preferredResponsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in the preparation of lunch in a quick and pleasant manner, point ofsale, salad bar prep, wash dishes, fill flatware stations, load milk, assist inpreparing meals and clean up daily. Assist in completing tracking meal components daily.Assist preparing the cafeteria serving area for each days service.Help to replenish the food as needed.Adhere to Auburn School Departments HAACP planFollow strict protocols with cleaning and sanitizing.Serve as the backup when Kitchen Manager is out.Work closely with Kitchen Manager in all aspects of the meal service at the schoolOther duties assigned by immediate supervisor as the need arises.
