Kitchen Aide Jobs

Self Help Inc. Head Start Preschool Food Service Department is looking for Food Service personnel for School Year 2022-2023 with an October Start Date.
Position is 35 Hrs. /wk. 38 weeks/yr.
Salary- $ 14.25 – 15.00 based on experience

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Dishwashing, cleaning of floors/ counters, and general kitchen duties
• Working with the Head Cook and Preparation Cook on food preparation for preschool children
• Delivery and pick up of meals, snacks, and paper supplies

Qualifications

• Must be a team player, detail oriented and reliable.
• Knowledge of Food Allergies Preferred
• Preferred Three to Five years’ experience in Food Service.
• Heavy lifting required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to take direction and multitask in a fast-paced high volume environment.
• Minimum education-High School Diploma/GED
• Self Help, Inc. is a federal contractor, and it is required that all employees are to be fully vaccinated by their first date of employment

This position has a Summer Layoff of 10-12 Weeks which qualifies for unemployment.
