Job Description
Overview:
Perform tasks involved with the day-to-day operations of the HBR IT Department under the guidance of leadership. This position requires the ability to manage numerous administrative tasks as well as communication with internal and external parties.

This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of converting to full-time.
Responsibilities:
  • Brief leadership on project management using various formats (email, Teams, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Develop documentation on systems or processes related to IT department operations.
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Investigation and documentation of systems, vendors, and related details that are provided by leadership.
  • Related duties as assigned by senior leadership
  • Delegating tasks, as needed, on the project to employees best positioned to complete them, ensuring execution of time sensitive efforts.
  • Serving as a point of contact for multi-department teams to ensure efforts are coordinated and efficient.

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with significant work experience; relevant work or internship experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to handle external inquires and executive-level interactions. Ability to write and speak persuasively.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a corporate environment coordinating projects, organizing data and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in accordance with a timeline.
  • Ability to read, and understand common business and financial data and information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to build relationships.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to take feedback.
  • Highly developed attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and identify next steps.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills including ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion
