Job Description

Jr Tech Ops Engineer - Chicago (On-Site) - $120K


A mid-sized, globally positioned proprietary trading firm is seeking a Junior Engineer to join their Chicago Operations Team. You will be troubleshooting for multiple trading strategies and working within a dynamic trading environment with abundant opportunities for autonomy and ownership.


Scope of Work:

  • Monitor trading systems and work to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot to keep trading applications online
  • Work alongside Risk and Trading desks to understand and facilitate trading requirements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting trading systems and/or trade applications
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages
