Job Description

Title:Junior Support Engineer (Adobe)

Duration:6-12 months C2H

Location:Remote, must work in EST time zone

Interviews: 1 round remote panel interview with the team lead and a few other team members

Day-to-Day:

Ascendion is looking for a JuniorTechnical Support Engineer for a big four consulting company. This resource is for AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and AEP (Adobe Experience Platform) for the L3 Support team, to support the global Adobe AEM/AEP customer base. Key elements of the role involve investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving our clients’ technical issues and ensuring our customers have a clear understanding of where things stand from the time the ticket is created through issue resolution. You will support the Development teams with the infra and triage investigation, will work on issues, coordinate with the Adobe Support team for extended support/investigation, work closely with other stakeholder teams to ensure stable environments and applications, and coordinate and conduct required RCA’s and triage all within the time frame of our SLAs. The overarching goal is to ensure that you provide our customers with a world-class level of technical support, resulting in Customers being wildly successful in using AEM/AEP.

*note this is not an actual developer role, it is considered L3 support. This resource will be supporting the main developers*

Must Haves:

  • Windows/Linux server knowledge
  • Continuous Integration and DevOps
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of J2EE applications, database concepts, and SSO (e.g. LDAP, SAML, OAuth).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
  • Working experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging multi-tier web applications
  • 2+ years’ experience with Adobe AEM/AEP preferably on the backend as a developer or level 3 support
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Performance tuning and optimization of web applications
