THE POSITION

We are seeking a hardworking, full-time Graphic Designer to collaborate with marketing team members and stakeholders to design and develop effective and impactful marketing materials including landing pages, emails, and digital/print advertisements to maintain and grow QuoteWizard's insurance agent client base.

The primary role of this position is to be the creative lead for Agent Marketing at QuoteWizard. You will work side-by-side with the Agent team to bring their concepts to life, as well as contributing great ideas that will help execute company initiatives. As a designer at QuoteWizard, you will help grow the QuoteWizard brand along with other designers throughout the division.

The work you do here actually gets produced and tested. Have an idea? Create it and we'll have it live in no time. We move fast with little hierarchy. We A/B test everything, so there's no shortage of work. You're the first line of creativity, ideating, iterating, and producing marketing materials and user experiences that help advertise the benefits of QuoteWizard and encourage agents to join us. For this role, we are seeking a candidate who loves all aspects of design and development. You'll be a leader with vision. We expect you to think conceptually, have a true understanding of web, and execute pixel perfect, precise designs.

RESPONSIBILITITES

• Maintain web and brand standards and keep up-to-date with new technologies, as well as marketing and UX/UI trends
• Have the ability to manage your own projects from concept to execution
• Complete front-end development for landing pages and email templates, ensuring the final product adheres to your original creative vision
• Brainstorm, concept, and collaborate with the Agent team, and other designers as needed
• Bring a unique outsider perspective of our clients and how they interact with our advertising, products and marketing efforts
• Have a passion for design and creativity, pushing the boundaries of existing creative, and be eager to explore new concepts; help grow and shape the QuoteWizard brand
• Have a passion for data visualization
• Produce truly responsive and appealing Desktop and Tablet designs first, that hold up on mobile.
• Act as the creative leader/representative for Agent Marketing at QuoteWizard
• Work with internal stakeholders to determine project goals, establish deliverables and set timeframes, all with a "client first" attitude
• Be a strategic design thinker
• Work closely with the QuoteWizard Agent team to focus on and live-and-breathe new ideas for marketing assets and user experiences, all while adhering to the growing brand and style guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

• Interested in the analytics associated with the creatives you produce and test, to improve designs by making small but significant changes
• Graduated from a 4-year school with a graphic design degree (or close equivalent) and 2+ years experience, including web and mobile design
• Be able to provide positive creative and constructive feedback to coworkers
• A link to your online portfolio (***this is an absolute must)
• Front-end development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of responsive design and responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
• Have a portfolio of stellar graphic and web/mobile design that demonstrates excellent design principles, and problem solving through visual communication
• Expert knowledge of Figma
• Can understand business objectives and proactively contribute both strategic and design ideas
• Ability to communicate openly and routinely with other designers at QuoteWizard
• Produces quick and dirty concepts for review and testing before driving full speed ahead
• Keen eye for stellar visual design including graphic design, layout, hierarchy, etc.
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Act as a positive role model for other coworkers and designers
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and significant experience working cross-functionally – should be able to collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Tech peers as a key creative partner
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AMPscript is a huge plus
• Can funnel constructive criticism into new ideas
• Is able to work in a fast-paced team environment and juggle multiple projects at once
• Maintain a high production rate while working in a hybrid environment

The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA and Denver CO is $66,000-$85,000.

The pay range for this position in Charlotte, NC and Cleveland, OH is $55,000-75,000.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Incentive Compensation: Variable compensation, annual bonus
