Junior Equity Trader Jobs

We are seeking a junior distressed equity trader to join our team. This individual will be responsible for trade execution and developing and maintaining client relationships.

Puma Capital is a FINRA registered broker-dealer providing high touch equity execution. Our Firm offers a host of trade and execution related services including equity market making, agency execution, access to a suite of algo’s, dark pools, and local international direct market access. This is an entry level position working with two senior distressed equity traders. The position requires a working knowledge of a sell-side equity trading desk and the OTC Markets.

Responsibilities:

• Execute equity trades on behalf of institutional clients, ensuring best execution and minimizing market impact.

• Provide timely and accurate market information to institutional clients.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, identifying their needs and providing customized solutions to meet those needs.

• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions that may impact institutional clients.

• Work closely with internal teams, including sales, trading, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of trades and exceptional client service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of equity market structure, trading strategies, and regulatory landscape.
