Description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing internal and external research and development projects within our company. The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project oversight and serve as the primary point of contact between internal departments and external partners to ensure the delivery of the projects within the timelines and budget. This employee reports on project statuses and any issues that may affect ultimate results.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

• Serve as the main point of contact with the internal R&D team and external partners, collect and maintain overall project knowledge, lead project team activities, and monitor progress against the established project timelines.
• Ensure meeting minutes, agendas, timelines, trackers, and other tools are utilized as well as providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Partner with the cross-functional department heads to implement improvements to Project Management processes and systems.
• Leads the project kick-off meeting and introduces the team as well as presenting the scope, timeline, risks, and proposed additional activities.
• Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.
• Leverages the team’s technical and scientific knowledge to recognize and manage activities at risk to exceed the timeframes or scope of the contract.
• Evaluate, highlight, and escalate unresolved issues, potential barriers to project progression, and resource constraints to the respective department heads.

Requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree and/or formal project management training or certification (PMP) is highly desired. Prior CMO/CDMO project management experience is highly desired.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment within the phama industry with competing priorities.
• A proven track record of working collaboratively and the ability to hold self and others accountable.
• Self-driven candidates who do not settle for the status quo, seek out the experience of others with the aim of better results, and consistently demonstrate honesty and integrity through personal example are highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree with a formal project management training or certification (PMP) or related field with 2-4 years of CMO/CDMO project management experience, required OR....
• Follows all safety policies and leads by example in a safety-first culture.
• Proficient in Microsoft Projects or any other project management tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Complies with the company code of conduct, policies, and regulatory standards.
