Jr. Security Engineer Jobs

Copart is looking for a Junior Security Engineer to help with our Security Automation and tools building efforts. As part of our Information Security team this person will have a passion for automating daily mundane tasks and help build internal tools. You will help in architecting solutions for Copart Cyber Security team.
Responsibilities:
Help build automation and promote automation across the Cyber Security team.
Help design, build and integrate internal tools to improve productivity and improve security.
Assess and enhance the posture of security tools.
Develop and maintain automated security scripts, tools and frameworks.
Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies.
Work with multiple security disciplines and come up with the automation enhancement opportunities.
Required Experience:
BS degree in an IT related field (Computer engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience
Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Perl, Ruby)
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Any prior internship experience is a plus
A Security related certificate is a plus
